Summer Camps

Registration for 2016 Summer Camps is ongoing.  Registration will remain open until spaces have been filled.  Some camp weeks are very popular so register early to ensure your spot!

Camp Time: 9am-4pm Mon-Fri
Before Care: 7.00-9.00am 

After Care: 4.00-6.00pm

Closed: June 29th, 30th, all Statutory holidays and Heritage Day in August.

Wet N’ Wild I —> July 4-8

Let’s kick off the summer with a full week of water fun including Sikome Lake, splash parks, and a wave pool.

Action Week —> July 11-15
Each day we will explore different speeds of life through an amusement park, go-carts, and creating our own amusement park at the club!

Animal Lovers —> July 18-22
Come learn about the wild world of animals with a trip to the Zoo, Butterfield Acres, and animal themed Club activities.

Wet N’ Wild II —> July 25-29
Let’s end July with splashing in some outdoor water parks, a wave pool, and a day at the beach!

Fun in the Sun (4 day camp) —> Aug 2-5
An outdoor pool, hiking, and adventuring will surely be a good way to beat the heat and have some fun!

The Simple Things in Life —> Aug 8-12 (*FULL*)
We will be heading back in time to Heritage Park and enjoying the simple things in life like hiking, canoeing, and horseback riding at Our Lady Queen of Peace Ranch, and taking in a relaxing Yoga session!

Become a Scientist! —> Aug 15-19
Create your own balloon car! Jump into the mindset of a scientist at Telus Sparks and explore how gears work at Callaway Park!

Wet N'Wild III —> Aug.22-26
Let’s get soaked this week as we end our summer camps with a splash at out door pools, water fights, and a beach.

Leaders in Training Ages 13-18 (*FULL*)

The Leaders in Training (LIT) Program is for youth ages 13 to 18* interested in developing their leadership skills.  Youth will have a mix of “class room” and hands-on learning to develop and practice skills necessary to be a great community leader. 
Upon successful completion of Leaders In Training youth will be invited to volunteer as Junior Leaders with our OSC Summer Fun Camps.

*Please note, for youth who are 18 years old and would like to participate, they will only be allowed to participate if they graduated in June 2016 and successfully complete the adult volunteer registration process (including a volunteer interview, criminal record check and intervention check). 

Don't Forget to fill out a General Membership Form if you are not a current member.  Only $10 for membership!

Youth Summer Drop-In Overview

Youth Summer Camps (aged 13-17) will run out of the Main Club (Upper Floor) from July 4th to August 26th 2016. The camps will operate from 10:00am until 6:00pm. This program will run as a Drop In Camp, with no pre-registration required. Parent will need to fill out an emergency contact form first day’s arrival.

Youth can access the computers and printer, use our art corner, our music corner, watch netflix, play video games, or play some pool. We will also be planning two fun outings for the summer, as well as fun theme days! Stay tuned for details! 

Youth will be provided with snack, but will be required to bring a lunch. 

There are no fees associated with youth drop-in.
