Are you passionate about creating positive change in your community? Do you have expertise, leadership experience, or a strong desire to support a mission-driven organization? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors and help guide our strategic direction, governance, and growth.

At BGC Cochrane, our volunteer Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in guiding and leading the Club’s management team. Composed of members with diverse backgrounds spanning education, community partnerships, development, community safety, as well as legal and financial professions, our Board brings a wealth of expertise to better programs for children in our community.

 

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for people to join our board who have a passion for programs that support children, youth and families, have knowledge of one or more of the following items:

• Experience in nonprofit governance, finance, law, fundraising, marketing, or community engagement

• A commitment to equity, inclusion, and social impact

• Strategic thinking and collaborative leadership

• Availability to attend monthly board meetings and participate in committee work

Board Member Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and fiduciary guidance

• Support fundraising and advocacy efforts

• Serve as an ambassador for the organization

• Ensure alignment with mission and values
