Current Opportunities 

Child Development Mentor - Grant Funded Age Restricted

Full-Time (20-40 hours per week) and Part-Time (up to 19 hours per week), Monday to Friday 1:15pm to 6:15pm, as part of Grant Funding, aged 17-24 only. Must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents and residents of Alberta.

 

At BGC Cochrane & Area, Child Development Mentors play an essential role in providing exceptional, high-quality childcare in our licensed program. For nearly 30 years, we have supported children, youth and families in Cochrane & Area through Out of School Care (K-6), Summer Camps, Youth programs, Youth Outreach services, BGC Day Homes and community partnerships. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

Permanent, Full-time Out of School Care Program Site Supervisor

The OSC Program Site Supervisor position supports optimal delivery of BGC Cochrane & Area Out of School Care Programs (OSC) through direct program delivery and mentorship of team members. In addition to participating in program delivery, the Program Supervisor will also provide expertise, experience, leadership and skills that contribute to the efficient operation of BGC Cochrane & Area OSC programs based on areas/locations of need. This position qualifies for Government of Alberta Wage Top Up in alignment with Early Childhood Education based on education levels and hours worked. (Up to $18,000 annually)

Permanent, Part-time Out of School Care Program Site Supervisor

25 hours per week, afternoons only 1:15-6:15 Monday to Friday.
