Children & Youth are at the centre of everything we do at BGC Cochrane & Area. Our organization offers a wide range of programs including out of school care, kindergarten care, day homes, and youth programs tailored to meet the unique needs of young people in Cochrane. Our mission is to equip them with the necessary tools and support to succeed both academically and in life.
LIFE-CHANGING PROGRAMS & RELATIONSHIPS
Belonging to a Club is often a life-changing experience. Children can build healthy, supportive relationships with caring adult role models, which in turn can positively influence the life path they choose. Clubs also encourage healthy, respectful relationships with peers and family members.
2024 PD Days and Camp Weeks
Camp is full of adventures to take in all the natural beauty of our Cochrane community. Our fantastic camp counselors will provide activities and outings that will satisfy your children's creative, dramatic, playful, and curious sides while facilitating friendships and a love and appreciation for the great outdoors.

Our camp programs accommodate children who are enrolled in kindergarten up to age 12.

We recognize that our work, and the works of our clubs, takes place on traditional indigenous territories in Canada.

In the spirit of our efforts to promote reconciliation, BGC Cochrane and area acknowledges the traditional territories and oral practices of the Blackfoot (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai), the Tsuut’ina (Sarcee), the Stoney Nakoda First Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
